Tanks operating in close jungle were vunerable to infantry who could get close to them. Whenever tanks were in close jungle they required constant infantry protection. The spotlight on the front of this Centurion was great in night contacts ... although it did make the tank a bit of a target and meant that we lost our night vision for awhile. In the background is a mobile bridge that tanks used to cross streams and small rivers. From the left Ginna, Moody and Jammo pose in front of their adopted tank.
