Bob Berbeck says: " In 40 years at sea I have done many man overboard drills. We had an actual man overboard at
one in the morning and he must have gone through the screw as we never did find his body.
Here Capt Fulton is about to throw a wreath overboard in the spot where on a previous trip ABSW Ray DeBallenhard had
fallen overboard and died. Cdr Sweeny has his back to me . . ."
The Chief Steward at the left side of the photo has been identified as CPO John Potter.
Spelling of the name "DeBallenhard" is uncertain.
