Royal Canadian Navy : Esquimalt Harbour.
General view of the harbour with one of the frigates in the foreground and the stern of H.M.C.S. Ottawa (229) in the middle. In the distance is the visiting British cruiser H.M.S. Belfast. The two frigates forward of the cruiser's bow are the Stonetown and St Stephen. These were coverted frigates used as weatherships out at weather station PAPA in the gulf of Alaska.
