Entered Army, 1942, trained at Camp Maxey, Texas, Camp Shelby, Miss. and England. Served in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Awarded Purple Heart, Bronze Star, GC, Pres. Citation, 4 Battle Stars and Arrowhead. Wounded in Germany, 1944. Discharged in 1945.

Awarded DFC, Air Medal, 8 Clusters, Purple Heart, Unit Citation and ETO Ribbon with 5 Stars, Wounded over Sardinia, 1943.

FITZPATRICK, Earl Lt. Earl Fitzpatrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Fitzpatrick, Minden, graduate of Minden High. entered Army AC, 1942, trained at Maxwell Field, Ala., Florida, Greenville, Miss., Georgia Field, Ill. and Boise, Idaho. Served in ETO. Awarded Silver Star, Air Medal, 5 Clusters, 4 Campaign Stars, ETO Ribbon, Purple Heart and Pres. Citation. Wounded over Bologna, Germany, 1943. (Note: Bologna is in Italy)

FLOREY, Marion Bradford Pfc. Marion Bradford Florey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hettie Florey, Springhill, husband of Rosa Lee Zimmerman, attended Springhill High. entered Army, 1944, trained at Camp Hood, Tex. Served in ETO. Awarded 3 Bronze Battle Stars, Victory and GC Medals. Discharged in 1945.

FLOYD, Otis G. Jr. Cpl. Otis G. Floyd, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Floyd, Sarepta, attended Sarepta High. Entered Army, 1942, trained at Camp Wolters, Texas and Kansas City, Mo. Served in Philippines, Admiraltys and Bismark Archipelago. Awarded APO, 32 Bronze Stars, GCM and Unit Citation. Discharged in 1946.
