Served in Belgium, France and Germany. Awarded Purple Heart and Inf. Badge. Wounded in Belgium, in 1944. Discharged in 1946.

MOORE, Harvey James Cpl. Harvey James Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Moore of Sarepta, husband of Beadie Velma Moore. Attended Sarepta High. Entered Army in 1943, trained in Wichita Falls, Texas. Served in ETO. Awarded GC, ETO and ATO Ribbons. Discharged in 1945. Re-enlisted.

MOORE, Kenneth Cpl. Kenneth Moore, son of Mrs. Margaret Moore of Cotton Valley, attended Athens High. Entered Army in 1940, trained at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. Served in Ireland, England, France and Germany. Awarded ETO Ribbon and one Bronze Star.

MORGAN, Herman E. Cpl. Herman E. Morgan, son of Mrs. Bertha Morgan of Minden, attended Minden High. Entered Marines in 1942, trained at Marine Base, San Diego, Cal. Served in Pacific. Awarded Pres. Citation and 3 Battle Stars. Discharged in 1945.

MORGAN, Carlus D. Major Carlus D. Morgan, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Morgan of Shongaloo, husband of Mirian Kirkley. Graduate of Shongaloo High. Entered Army in 1941, trained at Morrison Field, Fla. Served in Newfoundland and Central America. Discharged in 1946.
