CHOW TRAY

Chow Tray

In spite of the weekly meal of "SOS", we were
served some really good chow off these trays!
(I still eat my supper off this one.) For example,
just go to the "Home" page and click on
"Orvetta's 1945 Thanksgiving Menu"
to take a look at an outstanding meal!

Note:
"SOS" was some kind of creamed meat served on crisp toast. The "SOS" was an acronym
for "Stuff On a Shingle", though some cruder terms were often used to describe the "Stuff".
