JUNK

Junk

A Chinese junk is a flatbottomed ship with a high superstructure (poop)
at the stern and (battened) flexible strips of wood placed in pockets at the
outer edge of the sail to keep it flat. This was on the Huangpo river and as
Howard said, "... it had the rattiest set of sails".
