On Sept. 29, 2001 I was able to contact George's wife via a letter.  She responded that George died on 10/29/1997.  Further contacts via letter have not been responded to. He served from 1941 to 1973.

On Nov. 26, 2001 Norman Esh was able to provide the following: After graduation was sent to Army Air Corps Training Command at a new bombardier training base at Carlsbad, New Mexico.  The base was not yet completed so he lived in an old C.C.C. camp north of the city.
