Nicholas
Paul Wagner was my husband’s half brother. He was born in Austin, MN on 29 Mar 1918.
Died 27 Nov. 1943 and is buried at Punch Bowl, Oahu, HI.
He married Alice May Schmidt on 7 Nov. 1942 in Alamogordo, NM.
From Alice Schmidt:
Paul was killed over Rangoon, Burma on a raid by
the 10th AF stationed in India and the 14th AF from China. He was the only
one on his plane killed. He was hit in the head by an explosive bullet
from a Japanese Zero, outlawed by international law.
