My Uncle is sitting on the ground on
the front row, third soldier in from the right (has his eyes shut) in the
"Kirkland Field" Photo.
I will try to contact his immediate
family for information. Briefly, he was a successful business man with 4
children. His wife's named Myra. He died ten years ago in Florida.
The painting below was done by Gayle and is
based on an old photo of Shaughnessy's crew. It hangs in her living room. |
