Shot down and taken as a POW on 21 May 1943. Lost an eye. Plane was called Boomerang, serial # 42-29834. No MACR available. Flew on the Eklun or Ekland crew. (Crosshairs June 1992, pg. 38) This obit states that he was KIA, but 94th BG records show him as POW.
