Recently, I have gotten emails asking where we live etc., so that got me thinking,
that here I am asking people to contribute & share, when I havn't done it myself.
So, I will first start with dad. When he came home from Nam, he married my mom within a week (as planned before he left for Vietnam... they had been "going steady" since the 7th grade), and finished his time in the Army at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
My sister Kristie came along in 1969, followed by me in 1971. After dad & mom divorced, he became a deputy sheriff in Oregon, and a few years later moved to Idaho where he drove truck for abt. 16 yrs.
He briefly moved back to Oregon, but is now settled in Texas, where he's been for abt. 4 yrs. He & his wife Carol are both long-haul truck drivers & enjoy raising their horses.
My sister is in Alaska, where she's been for 14 yrs. Her & her husband have 3 children. Me, I moved to Indiana 4 yrs. ago, I have 2 daughters from a previous marriage, and boy/girl twins with my current husband.
So, dad has 7 grandchildren, that he loves to pieces!
