HEADQUARTERS

APO 302

201.22

9 January 1943

Subject : Commendation.
To : Commanding Officer, 561st Signal Battalion (AW).

    1. In establishing the antiaircraft artillery warning and control communications net for this Brigade, personnel of your command rendered considerable assistance to representatives of this Headquarters.

    2. Particularly helpful were Lieutenants HALL, RHODES and FRIEDLANDER, Sergeant NEWMAN, and Corporals CASSIDY AND GILMORE, all of whom were on duty at the Information Center. In numerous instances they went far beyond the normal scope of their assigned duties to aid in setting up antiaircraft facilities.

    3. I wish to command these officers and men for their efforts and to express my appreciation for their helpfulness.
