The Rip-off was a tradition when I arrived in Iceland.  Whenever someone was rotating out 
(transferring), they would receive "the treatment", which consisted of lots of old foods 
mixed in a bucket, and poured liberally over the victim. The command eventually abolished
the practice, because it was killing the grass.
