Spent time as a Supply Officer for 4 years, then went to pilot training. Flew EC-121s (Connies) in Viet Nam and Thailand for three tours. Got my engineering degree. Spent time in Korea in OPS Center, then supply staff in Montana (Not sure which tour was the most remote!) Then I was selected to help with the activation of AWACS at Tinker AFB. Was the first person assigned to the E-3A Component for NATO AWACS and activated the Base and Operations Wing. Then returned to Tinker AFB (AWACS) to close out my career. Loved every minute of it.
Since then I joined Boeing as instructor pilot, training manager and logistics/quality manager. Retired from Boeing in March. Having a ball!
Hope to establish communications with everyone.
I am still married to my lovely wife, Betty (43 years)
