During the war

He was a substitute for C Rhore [?] (1, 2, 4). He was enlisted and mustered into service on 14 March 1865 (1, 2, 4, 5). He was enlisted for one year, at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, by W [?] Poster [or Foster?] (2, 4). He served as a private in company K (1). His service was credited to the 8th subdivision of the 22nd congressional district (2, 4).

He mustered out with his company on 10 July 1865 (1, 5).

After the war

In 1890, he was living in Bellefonte, Centre County, Pennsylvania (6).

On 12 December 1892, he applied successfully for a pensoin (5).
