Benjamin Andrews

During the war

He enlisted and was mustered into service on 22 November 1861 (1, 3). He was enlisted for three years, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by Lieutenant Hamburg [?] (3). He initially served in company G (1).

He was transferred to company A (1).

On 8 January 1862, he was discharged on writ of habeas corpus (issued by the Honorable Jos Allison), because he was a minor (1, 2).
