H. R. 7044. Mary A. Anthony, aged 70 years, whose post-office address is Corsica, Pa., is the widow of Rinard S. Anthony, late a private, Company M, Sixty-second Regiment Pennsylvania Infantry, and Company K, Ninety-first Regiment Pennsylvania Infantry, from August 13, 1863, to May 27, 1865, and who died October 12, 1899.
He and this claimant were married September 2, 1875. She is now pensioned at $30 a month under certificate No. 491871.
The medical evidence shows she is in condition to require constant aid and attendance of another person by reason of being an incurable cripple, the result of completely ankylosed joints of lower extremities, in flexion. The joints are deformed and legs are useless.
She has no property. She has no income other than her pension. No one is legally bound to her support.
It is recommended her pension be increased to $50 a month.
