On 6 June 1905, a minor dependent, Garden [?] Bertolet, successfully applied from Pennsylvania for a pension (6, 7).
In 1909, Daniel H Bertolet filed the account of his guardianship of Abner W Bertolet (13).
His widow Margaret died in 1913, and was buried with him (9).

BERTOLET.--On June 28, 1865, Abner Bertolet, aged 53 years. The relatives and friends of the family, also Enterprise Council, No. 7, L.O.R.C, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services, on Sunday evening, June 30, at 7.45, First Mennonite Church, Diamond street, near Fifth. To proceed with 7.40 A.M. train from Reading Terminal, Monday morning, to Zieglersville Station. Services and interment at 10.30 A.M., Bertolet's Mennonite Meeting House.
