He was assigned by general order 123, Headquarters, Army of the Potomac, without a descriptive list (3).

On 2 June 1865, he was transferred to the 91st Pennsylvania (1, 2). He served as a private in company I of the 91st Pennsylvania (1).

He mustered out with his company on 10 July 1865 (1, 3).
