He was enlisted in the 22nd Pennsylvania in April 1861, and discharged in August 1861 (8). In 1890, he was living at 219 North 11th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (8). He had experienced sunstroke (8).
He applied successfully from Virginia for a pension on 12 July 1890 (3, 13).
In 1900, he was living at the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, Southern Branch, in Elizabeth City County, Virginia (9). He was a physician (9). His wife, Emma J Cameron, was living at 1814 Jefferson [?] Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (11). She was an auditor (11).
On 12 August 1907, he again applied for a pension (13).
In 1910, he was living at the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, Southern Branch, in Elizabeth City County, Virginia (11).
He died on 31 July 1913, at Hampton, Virginia (13).
His widow, Emma J Cameron, applied successfully from Pennsylvania for a pension on 20 October 1913 (3, 13).
