He was a member of Eugene Rawson Post #32, Grand Army of the Republic, Fremont, Ohio (2).
He died on 11 June 1932, in Lakewood, Cuyahoga County, Ohio (6, 7). He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont, Sandusky County, Ohio (7).
