He mustered out on 10 July 1865 with his company (1, 5). He was a private, in company E (6, 8, 9).

After the war

On 18 November 1891, he applied successfully from Pennsylvania for a pension (3, 5).

He was buried in Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania (4, 7).
