He was not accounted for when the regiment mustered out (1, 2). According to the pension index, he was discharged on 2 June 1862 (3).

After the war

He died on 25 February 1864 at Harrisburg Hospital (3).

On 28 June 1912, Lizzie J McGill (a minor dependent) unsuccessfully applied from California for a pension (3, 4).
