On 3 March 1900, he died (13). He was buried in Keagy Graveyard, in Woodbury Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania (4).
On 11 April 1900, his widow, Savina Lecrone, applied successfully from Pennsylvania for a pension (12, 13).
