In 1890, he was living in Hooverville, Somerset County, Pennsylvania (12).
In 1900, he was living in Hooversville, Quemahoning Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania (8). No occupation is listed for him (8). He was living with his wife Rosanna and a boarder (8).
On 31 March [?] 1901, Rosanna Lohr, his widow, successfully applied from Pennsylvania for a pension (4, 5).
