Robert N Martin

During the war

On 20 July 1864, John Lentz asked how Lieutenant Robert N Martin, transfered from the 62nd Pennsylvania Infantry, should be assigned (1).

On 21 July 1864, he, and all the members of companies L and M, were assigned to company G (2). On 22 July 1864, they were transferred to company K, following brigade instructions to assign them to the smallest company (3).

On 23 July 1864, he was ordered to join the company of the 62nd Pennsylvania at Washington DC (4, 6). This consisted of men from companies L and M whose terms expired before 25 August 1864 (5).
