He married Catherine Keil (7). They had at least one child (7):

In 1860, he was living in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (4). He was living with his wife Catharine and daughter Emeline (4). He was a farmer, who owned real property worth $2,000, and personal property worth $300 (4).

He was a huckster when he was enlisted (3).

Description

He was 5 feet 6 inches tall, and had a dark complexion, blue eyes, and dark hair (3).

During the war

He was drafted from Gwyenedd, Pennsylvania (1, 3). He was enlisted and mustered into service on 2 March 1865 (1, 3, 9). He was enlisted for one year, at Norristown, Pennsylvania, by Captain Yerkes (3). His service was credited to the Sixth Congressional District (3). He served as a private in company G (1).

He received clothing worth $36.82 (3).

He mustered out on 10 July 1865 with his company (1, 9).

After the war

In 1870, he was living in Gwynedd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (5). He was living with his wife Catharine, and Jacob Zeber; their daughter Emeline and her family were probably living with them (5). Hezekiah was a huckster and farmer, who owned real property worth $6,000, and personal property worth $300 (5).

On 19 April 1880, he successfully applied for a pension (9).

In 1890, he was living in Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (8).
