MSgt. Tony Ness, US Army, Ret.

Tony Ness on a Bravo Company Bunker in Lai Khe, 1965

Sgt Tony Ness did his first tour in Vietnam as a 27 year old E-5 with Bravo Company in 1965. See Tony's "Rememberances" of those early days.

Tony did three more tours in Vietnam:

  • Saigon Jul 67-Dec 70
  • Chu Lai and Da Nang Aug-Dec 71
  • Advisory Team 86, Long An Province (South of Saigon about 50 miles) Jan-Aug 72
  • Tony spent seven years in Military Intelligence then retired as a Master Sergeant E-8 in 1982. He went to work for the Post Office in 1984. [He'll be able to retire from the Post Office in three years - that will give him a double retirement].

Tony is a member of the Big Red One Association (BRO) and a member of the Black Lions Association. Tony attends most of the reunions and is looking forward to meeting you at the next one. If you would like to contact Tony, his email address is: msgness@qwest.net
