Don Kochs has alerted us to the sad news of the passing of Tony Ness. Tony Ness, Fred Hill and Don Kochs were helping me from the very earliest days to put together this website. Tony furnished us with pictures and all the information we have about Bravo Company's arrival in Vietnam in 1965. The message from Tony's family members that was posted on the 28th Inf. Div. Log Book says it best:
I am writing on behalf of my Uncle Tony Ness. He passed away in his sleep on 8/23/01. His military ties were very important to him, and we wanted to make sure to notify any friends of his of his passing. There will be a memorial on Wednesday 8/29/01 and burial at Fort Snelling National cemetary on 8/30/01, please see newspaper for details.
Thank you to all who befriended him, he was very dear to us and will be greatly missed.
