Among the papers and photographs that
have survived John K. Ruppert 's World War II service are several books,
a few postcards and quite a few memorabilia.

Books
Several paper back books, although
very frail, are still intact. These include a tour book of Rome, a catalogue
from the Musee di Roma, Pup-tent Poets collections and a picture book of
the U.S.Army Rest Facility (Mussolini Forum).
Postcards
Fourteen postcards, mostly from
Rome but also a few from Switzerland are included. The Roman cards are
reproduction water color paintings.
Memorabilia
Photographs of many war-time memorabilia
include a brass mug made from captured Nazi tanks, a copper plate made
from bullet casings, Italian handkerchiefs, several coral cameos,
jewelry, carved music box and a number of other items.
