Anderson served in Company L, of the 3rd Illinois
Volunteer Infantry, and was a resident of
Donovan, Illinois. He enlisted on April 26, 1898
in Kankakee, Illinois; and was mustered in on May
7, 1898 at Camp Tanner in Springfield. On January
24, 1899, he was discharged at Joliet, Illinois.
