The purpose of
this site is to share with viewers the
history of the Brant Military Hospital, and
preserve its history. Gene Beals, who
proposed this site, did so because his great
uncle, Joseph T. Crinnion, of St. Louis,
Missouri had registered for the draft in
1917, and found ineligible for military
service following a physical examination by
the draft board, he joined the Canadian
Expeditionary Forces. He enlisted in the
Canadian Army Medical Corps on October 2,
1917 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and served
with the Brant Military Hospital Group.
