Charles Carney Dies
 
Pictured with his wife, Senia Young.Charles L. Carney, 62 years, 7 months and 6 days old, died at the family home, 311 Plum Street, Sunday, November 28. Mr. Carney has been a resident of Collinsville for the past twenty-three years. He was formerly employed at the brick yard here but for the past four years has not been able to work.

He is a veteran of the Spanish-American War, having been a private in Company I of the Fourth Texas infantry. He is survived by his wife, Senia, and several children.

Funeral services were held Monday from the residence.
