Ben Borgars dies of pneumonia in France
38th Division "Cyclone Division"Ben M. Borgars, aged 28 years, who left here last summer with a draft contingent sent to Camp Dix, died of pneumonia in the service in France, according to word received last Friday by his brother, John Borgars living just at the east edge of this city. The news came in an official telegram from the war department.

Borgars was born Sept. 13, 1888, near Troy and grew up there. He had been living here for several years, working at Lumaghi mine No. 2. He is survived by seven brothers and sisters, Mary, John, Edward, Mrs. Lizzie Molinar, Leonard, Cora, and George, the latter living in Louisville, Ky.
