The
Advertiser (Collinsville) June 27, 1914
Annias Gibson |
| Annias Gibson, an
aged colored man, who has been a resident of
Collinsville for many years, and whose age was 77
years, died at his home on North Center Street
Friday, June 19th, of pneumonia. Some years ago
Mr. Gibson was well known as a janitor of several
business houses about the city, but in latter
years he has been too feeble to do much and has
labored at odd jobs. The funeral was held at the colored
Baptist church, of which he was an elder.
