| The Samuel T.
Hughes Post 534 G.A.R. of Collinsville, Madison
Co., Illinois was named for him. Hugh McHugh, who
served in Co. K of the 115th Ohio Volunteer
Infantry and was later a resident of
Collinsville, was the last member of the post. He
was laid to rest at St. John Cemetery in 1935. |
