Howell Prosser Buried Here |
| Howell Prosser, a
former resident of the city, for many years, died
at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis,
Saturday, May 15th. Mr. Prosser had been living
at the Old Soldiers and Sailors home at Quincy
for the past four years or five years, and it is
not known when he was removed to the hospital. He was a member of the
Madison Lodge No. 43, I.O.O.F, of this city, and
about a year ago was presented with the
fifty-year jewel.
Funeral services
were held Monday at 3:00 p.m. from the Armbruster
Chapel at 8234 Manchester Avenue, St. Louis, and
the body brought back to this city for burial at
the Glenwood Cemetery. A delegation from the
I.O.O.F. had charges of the services in this
city.
