Nickolaus Schaller, aged 86 years, six months and
two days, died at his home at Caseyville at 12:20
p.m. Thursday, April 22, of infirmities incident
to old age. The deceased was born at Weisdorf,
Germany, October 21st, 1828, and came to
Collinsville 55 years ago. He was married to
Maggie Vatides in 1852, and the survivors are a
son, Charles Schaller, and two sisters, Annie
Schaller and Mrs. Louise Winkler. The funeral
will be held Sunday at 2 p.m., the officiating
clergyman being Rev. F. Schneider and internment
will take place at St. Johns cemetery. |
