NOTE: A separate National Convention of the SSAWV was held in Peoria, Illinois in 1945. The Son's Conventions were normally held in conjunction with the USWV National Encampments. The USWV were originally going to forgo the 1945 Annual Encampment ( eventually held in Denver). The initial decision by the USWV to forgo a National Encampment made it necessary for the SSAWV to plan and hold a separate convention.
