Boyse: age 30 at enlistment; height 5' 10"; brown hair; grey eyes; fair complexion; married; occupation farmer; born in Marion county, Tennessee; at time of enlistment, residing in Chamois in Osage county, Missouri; enlisted September 20, 1862; mustered in on October 2, 1862, at St. Louis Missouri by a Colonel Bonneville; Mustered out August 13, 1865. A military headstone was placed near his grave in Chamois, Missouri. He died February 2, 1890. The stone was made by W. H. Gross company of Lee, MA. The order was placed June 1, 1890. 1
