Family researcher, Judy Cromer Walker ( jwalker1@sport.rr.com ), believes that Lewis C. Cromer is buried in Calloway Cemetery in Tarrant county, near Ft. Worth, Texas.  A listing and photographs provided through the Allen Wheatley Cemetery web site states that Louis Clark Cromer was buried there and his stone reads born May 7, 1842 and died Oct. 1, 1918 (see photo below).  Buried with him is Nancy Cromer, born Aug. 16, 1841 and died Aug. 7, 1938.  Virginia E. Armstrong Cromer, who was the wife of Lewis Cromer's brother James L. Cromer, was buried in the same cemetery next to Lewis and his wife.  Additional research into census records on Lewis C. Cromer have not turned up any definite clues.
